Nursing jobs across the United States are on the rise and, despite this, more and more nurses are turning to non-clinical jobs as a way to boost their income and change career paths.  If you are looking for new opportunities in nursing, you’ll want to consider the nursing job fairs that come available in your local area.

Virtual Job Fairs
Most nurses are not well served by virtual job fairs as they typically do not allow a health care agency, or a consulting company, to get a sense of who you are as a person.  With nurses typically looking for legal consulting jobs, virtual job fairs may provide you with the initial contact but, overall, they are not good for securing a consulting job outside of the clinical setting.

Job Fairs for Teachers in Nursing
While you may be inclined to only look for jobs through a nursing or healthcare platform, be sure to also consider other specialized job fairs such as the job fairs for teachers.  If you want to get out of the nursing job you currently hold, and get into education, these job fairs may provide the insight path for you. Of course, you’ll want to be sure you keep a nurse consultant log to guide you in the job search effort.

No matter what type of jobs for nurses you are looking for, always consider options in job fairs.  When attempting to find job expos and events in your area, utilize these tools and, as always, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and bookmark this page as we work to find more jobs in a variety of national areas.

Mesothelioma Litigation and Nursing Vacancies

Mesothelioma litigation is on the rise and, in the United States, the number of people expected to file claims for mesothelioma financial settlements is only going to grow exponentially.    Because of this growth in litigation, many individuals in the healthcare sector are turning to new careers in non-nursing professions, leaning more towards careers as legal nurse consultants in mesothelioma litigation cases.   With this transition, more and more nursing vacancies are also opening up.   If you are a registered nurse, and if you want to pursue a career as a legal nurse consultant in mesothelioma litigation, creating a self-employment and freelancer contract arrangement with several plaintiff attorneys will give you the  most lucrative career options.   In fact, because this type of new business venture is known to be lucrative, many legal organizations are also providing small business startup grants for legal nurses who are interested in becoming specialized experts for mesothelioma legal cases.   Keep in mind, as a legal nurse, you want to find the best niche for your legal expertise before creating a nursing vacancy by leaving your nursing job.
